- Identify the content areas of each section of the NCIDQ Exam (IDFX, IDPX, IDIX).
- Discover the resources available as study tools and guides to prepare for the NCIDQ Exam (all sections).
- Differentiate areas of knowledge strengths and weaknesses to emphasize/downplay specific areas of study in preparation for the exam(s).
- Detect the types of question formats used in professional standardized testing environments and navigate them to viable answer(s).
- Create a formidable study plan which maximizes time and effort to help lead to success.

Taneshia W. Albert, MFA, ASID, CQ, EDAC, NCIDQ, USGBC
Taneshia West Albert, MFA, EDAC, NCIDQ, ASID, USGBC is an enthusiastic, award-winning educator and design practitioner. Her research and creative scholarship explores: cultural identity, meaning and trauma; diversity and inclusion; and methods to increase intercultural competency in design education and practice. Her design career is focused on design for healthcare environments, corporate interiors, and higher education spaces with a unique background in Medical Equipment Planning and Facilities Design and Construction. Her recent industry and academic merit awards include: 2025 ASID 50 Awards; Educator of the Year, 2023; and ASID Ones to Watch Scholar, 2021.
Kristi Newton, ASID Educator, NCIDQ, PMP
Kristi Newton has been an adjunct professor in the Interior Architecture Program at Marymount University since 2023, teaching courses including hospitality design studio, workplace studio, and lighting design. She previously served as Studio Director, RD Jones and Associations, Senior Director of Interior Architecture at Streetsense Consulting LLC, and Director of Interior Design for Las Vegas Sands Corporation. Her major projects include the St Regis Resort, Macau, China, Ritz Carlton Condos, and Embassy Suites Tampa and Ft Lauderdale.
