Design Learning by ASID is a learning management system (LMS) that offers continuing education courses, skills and knowledge building certificates, digital badge programming, study skills and exam prep for national exams, and professional development training. There is something for everyone, whether you are an interior designer, student, emerging professional, or anyone working in the built environment.
ASID views professional development as a purposeful and steadfast requirement for practitioners to stay relevant, reinforce health and safety standards, and achieve excellence and quality in their design work. We are committed to providing access to quality education for the interior design profession through courses and training from some of the most well-known experts and resources in the industry. Our content is regularly peer reviewed to maintain our commitment to our members and other learners who rely on our educational offerings to enhance their learning and benefit their career pathways. We stay current on educational technology and online learning standards by following the frameworks of Quality Matters , the Online Learning Consortium, WCAG 2.2 guidelines, and other guidelines used by associations, programs, government agencies, and institutions nationwide.
Our continuing education and professional development catalog and LMS platform, Design Learning by ASID, provides enhanced learner experiences that are accessible, engaging, and interactive. Earn IDCEC and AIA-approved credits in a variety of topic areas including health and wellness (HSW), human-centered design, business practices, and much more. Launching in 2026, Design Learning by ASID will offer new specialty certificates in career skills, design specific skills support in universal design and small business needs, volunteer leadership training, and others to expand the breadth of our educational offerings to new heights in quality learning.
